What is Microsoft Access?

Microsoft Access is a desktop database package developed by Microsoft Corporation that is used by many businesses and power users to create simple database applications for a small number of users.

The key benefit that makes Microsoft Access a winner is that it is simple to use and simple to install for anyone from the home hobbyist to a power-user within a larger business.

Contract Eagle uses Microsoft Access as a viable option to Microsoft SQL Server, to take advantage of this simplicity for small businesses who do not want to take on the technical learning curve required for Microsoft SQL Server.

When should I use Microsoft Access?

Only if you don't already have Microsoft SQL Server and aren't confident with installing Microsoft SQL Server Express.

We emphasise to you that the Microsoft Acccess option is provided only to make installation easier for small businesses with little or no access to technical support.
