After nearly a decade of faithful service, Contract Eagle's user interface is getting its most significant update since 2015. Version 12 isn't just a fresh coat of paint - it's a modernisation of your Contract Management experience, built directly from your feedback and modern UX best practices.
The Journey to v12: Listening, Learning, Evolving
When we sent out our 2024 customer survey, you told us exactly what would make your daily contract management easier. You wanted browser-like navigation with back buttons. You needed the ability to work on multiple contracts simultaneously. You found our OK-Save-Cancel button sequences confusing.
We didn't just listen - we acted. Our design specialists conducted a comprehensive audit, confirming what you'd told us and identifying opportunities we hadn't even considered. They recommended clearer headings, helpful tooltips, strategic use of icons, and less button clutter.
Combined with our brand refresh and the simple reality that the digital landscape has transformed since 2015, it was time for Contract Eagle to spread its wings.

Remember the frustration of not being able to use your browser's back button? Or needing to look at two contracts side by side? Those days are over.
Browser-Like Freedom: Navigate Contract Eagle like any modern web application. Use back and forward arrows, open multiple tabs, and even share direct URLs to specific contracts. Working on contract #2381? Simply share the URL with a colleague, and they'll land exactly where they need to be.
Multi-Tasking Made Easy: Open your contract search in one tab while reviewing party data in another. Right-click any menu item to open it in a new tab - standard browser functionality that finally works the way you expect.
Recent Items Widget: Your new personal assistant on the dashboard remembers exactly what you were working on, letting you jump back to recent contracts and tasks with a single click.
Streamlined for Speed
Every click counts when you're managing hundreds or thousands of contracts. That's why we've eliminated unnecessary steps throughout the system.
The OK Button Revolution: Gone are the redundant confirmation screens. When you save a contract, you'll see a brief confirmation message and return immediately to your search results. No more clicking OK just to click OK.
Cleaner, Clearer Actions: We've decluttered the button bars while keeping every function accessible. Primary actions are prominently displayed, while secondary options live in a tidy Options menu that stays visible as you scroll.
Intuitive Organization: The new Contracts menu brings your most-used functions to the top level. Add contracts or forms with one click. Mark your frequently-used contract types as favorites for even faster access.
Visual Enhancements That Enhance Visibility
Contract Eagle has always been about giving you complete visibility into your contract portfolio. Version 12 makes that visibility even clearer.
Dashboard Intelligence: New colored tiles instantly highlight what needs your attention - overdue tasks, unclaimed items, and upcoming deadlines. Your contract and task statuses now have customizable colors, making it easier to spot critical items at a glance.
Consistent, Modern Design: Aligned with our updated brand identity, the new interface reduces cognitive load with consistent patterns, clear typography, and thoughtful use of space.
